How do I join CIGA?Simply complete the membership application form and pay the annual membership fee of CI$100. The form can be found on-line by clicking on the CIGA Information - Membership Information tab above. Payment can be made by cash or cheque or on-line with Butterfield Bank, account # 02-101-039604.

Why join CIGA?It is important for golf in the Cayman Islands that a non-commercial and impartial body of amateur golfers exists to administer the principal concerns of the Cayman Islands golfer. The association also executes ideas and suggestions from its members. CIGA coordinates golf events, provides handicapping, and supports golf for all ages. Following on from the hugely successful Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships hosted in Cayman in 2023, there are flourishing junior coaching programmes in place.

Who belongs to CIGA?CIGA has over 250 current members, and welcomes any interested golfer with amateur status.

How is CIGA governed?CIGA is governed by four officers and five general members. All elected committee members are volunteers, serve a term of one year, and are elected annually by CIGA members at the Annual General Meeting.

How is CIGA financed?CIGA is financed by membership dues, tournament entry fees, corporate sponsors and other fund raising events throughout the year.

What other golf associations is CIGA affiliated with?CIGA is associated with the Caribbean Golf Association, the R&A and the USGA.
