IMG Junior World Championship
Cayman selected 3 junior golfers to represent themselves and Cayman at the IMG Junior World Golf Championships which were held over 10 different golf courses including Torry Pines south and north course. 2 of out junior's played La Costa Resort and Spa (Legends course) while the other junior played Morgan Run South Course. Both of these golf courses challenged our golfers to an extant that they haven't seen before around the Caribbean. "The greens were the most difficult to judge as they were a different type of grass compared to North Sound golf club or the Ritz Carlton golf club". Said both Aaron Jarvis and Justin Hastings.
All three of the boys were happy with the was that they played but it could have been better they said, Justin Hastings finished T31 at a score of +6 (222) for 3 days, Aaron Jarvis didn't play his best golf in this tournament but finished T119 +22 (238) for a 3 day in their age group. Andy Hastings who was in a lower age group didn't play his best golf either but enjoyed the experience of playing in one of the top junior tournaments. Andy finished 124th at a score of +45 (261) for a 3 day total.
