The CIGA "Shamble"
Saturday 12th November – Ritz Carlton Golf Club
WHAT IS A “SHAMBLE”?
You have probably played in a team scramble competition. The “shamble” format is similar in that the team selects which they consider the better of their 2 drives and both players hit from that point. BUT in a “shamble”, each player then plays out the hole with his/her own ball. The “shamble” team score for the hole is the team’s better NET score. For example, if player A holes out for a 4 and player B who gets a shot on the hole has a 4 – the team “shamble” score is thus 3. There will also be a prize for the best team GROSS score.
Individual ENTRY FEE is US$150 and US$75 for Ritz Carlton Golf Club members. Men will play White tees. Ladies will play Green tees.
