Welcome to the Cayman Islands Golf Association
Since it was associated in 1992 CIGA has been working to promote and develop golf in Cayman. CIGA is run entirely by volunteers and has a Committee of 9 and a current membership of around 300 golfers. CIGA programmes and initiatives are funded from Membership dues, tournament entry fees and sponsorship/partnerships.
Please enjoy exploring our website which will give you a good flavour for all that Cayman has to offer the resident or visiting golfer. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
CIGA's two main focuses for the coming months are 1) Our alliance with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, Orlando to enhance our junior coaching programme. Involves LGA coaches visiting the island once a month to work alongside our local professionals. Click here for more detail. 2) Preparation for the hosting of the 62nd Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship (CAGC) from the 29th July - 4th August, 2018.
Membership benefits include:
New "Friends of CIGA programme" offers member discounts/benefits with partners at various bars, restaurants, retail, other services.
Golf related - handicap, tournaments, special rates.
New insurance benefit - on-island cover for personal liability & material damage and a $300 bar tab cover for hole in one (in CIGA competitions)

Dear Cayman Golfing Community,
As we continue to stay at home to protect one other and work together to limit the spread of COVID-19, it is important to think about those in need during the crisis. There are a number of charities on island that are doing hero’s work helping out those in need. A little closer to home, we think about the impact on our friends who work in the golf industry in Cayman. We also think about CIGA’s many restaurant partners on island who are doing their best to keep afloat so they can come back as strong as ever.
With all of this in mind, CIGA is announcing a program to help our community. We will be purchasing 100 hours of professional teaching lessons to be raffled for use once the various facilities are open again. This raffle is open to everyone who wants to enter. We specifically ask the Cayman golfing community, including our CIGA membership, to help.
To enter is simple. Simply support one of the many charitable organisations on islands. Donate $5, or donate $500. Do what you can. Alternatively, support one of our restaurant partners by ordering takeaway or delivery.
Once you have done that, click ‘Register’ on the CIGA.ky homepage. Provide your name and the name of the organization you supported. You don’t need to tell us how much you gave, or prove that you donated. We trust you. Enter as many times as you want. Help will continue to be needed.
We will have as many links as we can on the CIGA website of organisations to support. Please let us know if there is anyone that we have missed. We will do the draw once Government gives the ok for the golf industry to reopen its doors.
We look forward to having the driving ranges and lesson facilities on island full of golfers knocking the rust off their games. Let’s all hope we get through this as safely as we can and that we will soon be back out on the course!

ps- to our CIGA members, you have all been automatically entered into the draw already. We thank you for your continued support of our volunteer organisation. Please do think about supporting this initiative, earning additional entries into the draw.
