CIGA participated in this years “Celebrate Our Youth Day” expo, held at the Mary Miller Hall on Saturday 28^th January.

Celebrate Our Youth Day invites sporting, community and young leadership groups to showcase their organization and demonstrate how local kids can learn from and become involved further in them.

The CIGA booth was very well received, with many children participating in the chipping and putting demonstrations made possible by the “Short Golf” and Taylor Made junior sets, as well as instruction by CIGA committee members.  The CIGA booth even won the Best Booth award in the Sports Association division.

We hope that our participation in the event will help lead to more interest in our already successful after school programs and ultimately a thriving junior membership body in CIGA.
